The McSkillet joins "Sommerfest"

"Sommerfest," a Grand Island festival celebrating the German heritage of many community members, welcomed the McSkillet Mobile and promotions team to their celebration. Over 50 coupons were handed to event attendees, who enjoyed local entertainment from clogging dance studios, belly dancers, traditional musical ensembles and a cuisine of bratwurst, sauerkraut and kolacheys.

E&A wakes up to McDonald's

Abbi visited E&A Contractors on Friday, July 28, where the crew was awake and ready to go after they took on the McSkillet. Several crew members expressed a liking for the burrito, and a few even tried their hand at seconds.

Aurora reaches for the McSkillet

Employees at the Aurora McDonald's thought the Burrito Mobile was the "coolest car" in town. The Aurora city workers pose with the burrito mobile. The crew at Community Roofing and Home Improvements enjoyed their McSkillets The "Burrito Boys" helped Abbi hand out coupons during the 135th Annual Hamilton County Fair parade in Aurora.

KHAS-TV and the Adams County Fairfest in Hastings enjoy the McSkillet

Clarinda gives the McSkillet a whirl

Employees at the Clarinda McDonald's pose beside the McSkillet Mobile during a break at the massive on-site coupon handout at their store. In addition to appearances at the Clarinda McDonald's, the McSkillet tour also visited the county fairgrounds and handed out many coupons to participating 4-H'ers and their families.
